Registration

Visit our website www.meritemploy.com and click on login button and select the register tab on join us page.

MeritEmploy will send a welcome email to the registered account to confirm your registration. Once registered you will be logged in and required to create your MeirtEmploy Profile.

 

Profile

Firstly, you need to be on your dashboard and click on 'My Profile' and select 'Edit Profile' you can than add or edit information on your profile.

We do not allow any uploaded documents (CVs or cover letters). Our platform is strictly merit based, preventing bias and discrimination from the application stage to the hiring stage.

On sign up, you would have been taken through a step by step form to complete your profile. If you want to edit or complete at a later time, please go to your dashboard and click on 'My Profile' tab.

To download jobseeker profiles, please go to the ‘Applicants' tab on dashboard and 'View Profile' than click on ‘Download CV’.

Employers are able to download jobseeker profiles in PDF format. This will allow them to run the profile through their existing ATS system. Then return back to MeritEmploy and shortlist or send interview request.

When you sign up, you need to create a MeritEmploy profile. The profile should contain all relevant work experience, skills and qualifications. 

Please ensure you follow the profile guidelines below. The anonymous jobseeker profile contains:

  • No profile image
  • No name
  • No age
  • No gender
  • No ethnicity
  • No religion
  • No educational institutions names or details
  • No hobbies and interests
  • No company names
  • No employment dates
  • No qualification dates
  • No email or social media information

At MeritEmploy the profile is your first impression and it needs to be anonymous and on-point following all guidelines. The employer/recruiter will only be able to assess your job-fit through the information you provide on your profile. Therefore, we recommend keeping your profile regularly up to date.

Account

Firstly, make sure you are registered with MeritEmploy. If you have forgotten your password, please click the ‘Forgotten Your Password?’ link, enter your email address and click ‘Submit’. If your email address is connected with your account, you'll receive an email with a password reset link. Please also check your spam or junk folder if you don't see the email in your inbox. Please ensure to click the link as soon as you receive it - it's valid for 24 hours. Alternatively, another password reset request would be required.

Visit the 'Login in' page and click on ‘Forgotten Your Password?

Next, enter your email address and click ‘Submit’. If your email address is connected with your account, you'll receive an email with a password reset link. Please also check your spam or junk folder if you don't see the email in your inbox.

Please ensure to click the link as soon as you receive it - it's valid for 24 hours. Alternatively, another password reset request would be required.
 

Sign in with your existing email and password than from dashboard menu click on 'My Profile' and Select 'Edit Account' Once you make the changes click 'Save' and you will receive a confirmation email from MeritEmploy.

Jobs

To unsubscribe, open the email you have received and scroll down to the bottom of the email. Then click on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link. A confirmation message will appear stating, you have successfully unsubscribed.

Follow the 3 simple steps below on MeritEmploy homepage to start your job search:
Step 1. In the ‘Find Jobs’ field type in job title or keywords
Step 2. In the ‘Where’ field type the city, town or the post code where you want to find a job.
Step 3. Click 'Find Jobs Button

To narrow down your results on finding jobs, you can use the filters on MeritEmploy homepage or filters on the left hand side of browse jobs page.  To filter your job search, simply apply the criteria which suits you best for example the Distance.

On desktop it will automatically be updated. You will be required to click ‘Apply Filter’ button for other devices.

From your dashboard go to 'Applicants' tab and click on the appropriate profile and select 'Request Interview'

1) Select Job: Choose the job you want to interview the applicant for.

2) Select Interview Type: Two options will show Face to Face or Video Interview.

3) Select Date and Time and click on 'Create Interview' Button

The employer and jobseeker will recieve a confirmation email with the appropriate next action required.

Jobseekers

Login to your dashboard by clicking on the interview invite email recieved. Click on 'Interviews' tab and select 'Confirm Interview' Button. 

You will see two options on the drop down menu

  • Accept 
  • Decline 

Select the applicable option to you and click on 'Send confirmation'

Employer will be notified via email.

 

Employer/Recruiter 

Login to your dashboard and click on 'Sheduled Interviews tab and select 'Confirm Interview' Button. 

You will see two options on the drop down menu

  • Accept 
  • Decline 

Select the applicable option to you and click on 'Send confirmation'

Jobseeker will recieve interview confirmation email.

You will be expected to exchange your contact details and any further required information at the interview.

To save a job, click ‘Save Job’ next to each job search result. The jobs you save can be found on ‘Saved Jobs’ tab on your jobseekers dashboard.

Jobseekers

You cannot directly contact an employer until the interview stage. You can cancel or update a confirmed interview. To do this please go to your dashboard and go to your ‘Interview’ section and select ‘Update Interview’ option. At that point you will see a number of options to contact employer, they will be updated via email with your reasons selected.

Employers/Recruiters

Are able to notify jobseekers through 'Scheduled interviews' tab on dashboard you can cancel or update a confirmed interview to do this select ‘Update Interview’ option. At that point you will see a number of options to contact jobseeker, they will be updated via email with your reasons selected.

Technical

To report a job ad on MeritEmploy, go to the job view page and under the ‘Job ID’ click ‘Report’. We will be notified to investigate to remove the job ad from our platform should it be fraudulent or against our ‘Terms and Conditions
